Sunday Clippings
A large snowstorm is due to blow into eastern US and frigid temperatures are expected to follow after a mild spell. Such weather is enough to make one dream of warmer temperatures and blue sunny skies. Nonetheless signs of spring abound - snowdrops and early bulbs are already poking their heads, and buds are swelling on witch hazels. The days feel longer each month. Snowdrops are the focus of Val Bourne's article in the Telegraph, several well known people philosophize on youth, and two profiles of an Australian photographer and a Parisian lacquer company round out the artistic angle this week. Stay warm and those who are already in warmer climes should count themselves fortunate! ~Eric
